The Mississippi Early Childhood Association (MsECA) is your statewide organization for early childhood leadership. For ONLY $55 (professional) or $25 (student), you can become a member of the largest early childhood professional association in the state and join with thousands across the South as a member of the Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA).

We are Teachers, Administrators, Early Interventionists, Higher Education Faculty, Parents, Service Providers, Trainers, Advocates, Leaders, Curriculum Developers, Decision Makers,  and Practitioners working with and for children ages newborn through 8 years.

Mississippi Early Childhood Association (MsECA) has brought together individuals working with young children and families for nearly 60 years. The association was founded in 1953 with 16 charter members and was called the Mississippi Association of Children Under Six (MACUS).  The association changed its name from MACUS to MsECA in 1993. Currently, over 1000 professionals working in every aspect of early education belong to MsECA. MsECA is an affiliate of the Southern Early Childhood Association, an organization of over 21,000 members from 13 states.

Join MsECA today!

The Southern Early Childhood Association is now assisting MsECA with membership applications.  There are two ways to join:

Download this membership form, complete the information, including the appropriate dues payment, and mail it to the address listed on the form.  If you need proof of membership, please check that box on the form and a letter will be mailed to you from the SECA office.  Membership cards can take 4-6 weeks to arrive. ·

Go to SECA's membership page and complete the online application You will need a credit card to finalize your membership online.  If you need proof of membership, the system will ask you to complete a short form that will be e-mailed to the SECA office.  A proof of membership letter will be mailed or e-mailed to you per your instructions within 2-3 working days. 

Note:  The Proof of Membership Letter is accepted by the Council for Professional Development to complete a CDA application or renewal. E-mail is the quickest method of getting that letter to you.
