Attached is a copy of the MSDH’s filing with the Secretary of State for an amendment to the child care regulations.
An Oral Proceeding has been scheduled for 06-12-17 at 10:15 a.m., in the MSDH Osborne Auditorium located at 570 E. Woodrow Wilson Blvd., Jackson, MS 39216. The purpose of the Oral Proceeding is to receive public comment regarding the proposed amendment to the Regulations Governing the Licensure of Child Care Facilities and Regulations Governing the Licensure of Child Care Facilities for 12 or Fewer Children in the Operator’s Home.
The gist of the proposed amendment is that it increases from 30 minutes to 60 minutes the amount of time toddlers will engage in structured moderate to vigorous physical activity doing each day.
